US presidential elections to be held on time: White House said - elections will be held on November 3, but if 100% voting is done by mail-in ballot, then it is difficult to give results till January 1.

Trump had also previously expressed concerns about mail-in-voting, saying that these elections would prove to be the most fake elections in history.

He said that elections will be held on November 3 and President Donald Trump will win in it. But he also said that 100% voting is done by mail-in ballot, then the results will not be available on time.

Trump's concerns justified: Meadows

Meadows also spoke on the mail-in ballet issue raised by Trump in an interview to a TV channel. He said Trump had only voiced his concerns over the mail-in ballot. They also believe that elections in the country should be held on time.

Meadows said it was legitimate to worry about President Trump's mail in ballot. If we do 100% voting through it then it will take time for the results of voting to come. I say that we will not be able to announce the result till 1 January. Prior to Meadows, President of the Presidential Campaign Jason Miller said on Sunday that the presidential elections in the US would be held on time. President Donald Trump also wants the same.

Trump had suggested to postpone the presidential election

Trump suggested postponing the presidential election last Thursday. He feared a mismatch in voting from the mail-in ballot in the elections. It has since started to criticize Trump. This was opposed by several leaders of his own party along with the opposition party Democratic. Trump then defended himself saying he did not want to postpone the election, but refrained from fake votes.

Trump does not have the right to postpone the election

According to the US Constitution, the President does not have the right to change the date of presidential election. For this, Trump will have to approve the bill from both the House of Representatives and the Senate. The Republican Party has a majority in the Senate, but the Democratic Party has a majority in the lower house. Even if Trump passes the bill from both houses, he will not be able to postpone the election for long. According to the US Constitution, presidential elections will have to be held by 20 January.

Presidential elections are on November 3

US presidential elections are scheduled on November 3. President Donald Trump from the Republican Party and former Vice President Joe Biden from the Democratic Party. The primary elections of both the parties are over. The National Convention of the Democratic Party has also taken place. Biden's name is stamped in it. The Republican Party is to have its National Convention on 24 August. In this, Trump will be officially declared a candidate.
