Army stronger in Ladakh:A large number of personnel deployed in Daulat Beg Oldi and Depasang Plains, T-90 tank regiment also present to respond to China

In this sensitive area, Chinese soldiers from PP-10 to PP-13 have been preventing Indian soldiers from patrolling.China has deployed 17 thousand troops in Daulat Beg Oldi (DBO) and Despang Plains. In response, India has deployed troops in large numbers in these areas. Apart from this, regiments of T-90 tanks are here to respond to any action of Chinese army.

China deployed its troops in these areas in April-May
A government source quoted the news agency as saying that the Indian Army is fully prepared to respond to any action by the People's Liberation Army (PLA) in these two areas. These deployments have been made from the Petroling Point 1 near the Karakoram Pass to the Despang Plains. There are 17 thousand Chinese soldiers present in this area.
China deployed these troops between April and May. After this they are preventing Indian forces from surveillance in this area from PP-10 to PP-13.
Earlier this area was monitored by the Mountain Brigade of India.
The government source said that the presence of the tanks will prevent the Chinese soldiers from any snowfall. It will be difficult for them to operate in this situation. When China started building its infrastructure in the area on the other side of the DOB and the Depsang Plains, the Indian Army's Mountain Brigade and Armored Brigade used to monitor here.
But, now more than 15 thousand jawans and some tank regiments have also been deployed in this area. The jawans and tanks have been brought here by road and air route
China plans to build road from TWD battalion headquarters to Karakoram
According to the source, China intends to build a road in the area that connects its TWD battalion headquarters with the Karakoram Pass. India has failed this effort before. If China succeeds in its intention, it will take only a few hours for their troops to reach the area. Whereas, currently it takes 15 hours to do this through the G219 highway.
In the past, China also deployed its brigade in the Indian territory near PP-7 and PP-8. But, a few years ago India pushed it back.
35 thousand soldiers deployed to monitor the border in winter
The Indian Army is fully prepared for a long confrontation even in the bitter winter in the Ladakh sector. The army has deployed 35 thousand already trained personnel to fight the cold and conditions here. These jawans have already been deployed in high altitude and winter conditions and are ready to fight against such situations.
