Supreme Court dismisses plea seeking CBI inquiry into Congress-China agreement

 The Supreme Court on August 7, 2008, refused to hear a petition seeking an NIA or CBI probe on an agreement between the Congress and the Communist Party of China in Beijing. The bench said, "Never heard of a foreign government signing an agreement with a political party.
