Lata Mangeshkar sent message to PM Modi on Rakshabandhan, Prime Minister said this in response

On the occasion of Rakshabandhan, veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar has congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He has also shared a video. Lata Mangeshkar told that due to Corona she could not send him a rakhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also responded after his tweet.

Lata Mangeshkar shared a video in which she says' Narendra bhai, today I salute you on the auspicious occasion of Rakhi. I could not send Rakhi today because the whole world knows. You have done so much work for our country Narendra Bhai Modi and have said so many good things that the countrymen will never forget.

Lata Mangeshkar further says that 'Today millions of women of India have their hands forward for Rakhi on your side, but it is difficult to tie Rakhi. But you can understand, if possible, promise us on Rakhi day that you will take India higher. Hi.'

PM Modi also responded to this tweet by Lata Mangeshkar. He wrote, 'Lata Didi, this soulful message of yours on this auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan, will give immense inspiration and energy. With the blessings of crores of mothers and sisters, our country will touch new heights and achieve new successes. May you be healthy and live long, this is my prayer to God.
