Corona taking life of one person in every 15 seconds, death toll in the world crossed seven lakh

Corona virus continues to wreak havoc worldwide. The number of infected and epidemic deaths is also increasing. The number of people who lost their lives in the world has crossed seven lakh. Looking at the figures of the last two weeks, an average of 5,900 lives are lost from Corona every 24 hours. This is equivalent to 247 people per hour and one person every 15 seconds.

When, and How, Does the Coronavirus Pandemic End?

Globally, the number of corona infections has crossed 18.8 million. The epidemic is spreading fast in countries of Latin America. So far more than 50 lakh people have been found infected. The death toll has also crossed two lakh. The Latin American country Brazil is most affected by the epidemic.
Latin America, with a population of about 64 million, has 33 countries including Brazil, Venezuela, Chile and Argentina. In the US, the death rate due to corona virus has increased for the fourth consecutive week. However, new cases have fallen by five per cent for the second consecutive week.
